Contents of the Newsletter

The newsletter introduces the Mayo Clinic Press Kids' series called Manga Medicine, designed to support children's emotional health. The series comprises four books aimed at tweens and early teens, exploring topics such as depression, grief, anxiety, and loneliness. Each book features two connected stories to provide different perspectives on the same emotional challenges that kids face.

• Yariel and Winnie's journey through grief
• Ani and Dev's experience managing anxiety
• Additional stories like Ani and Dev’s coping strategies for anxiety, and Zoe and Leo's exploration of loneliness

These books are created in collaboration with Mayo Clinic pediatric psychologists to offer practical coping strategies for kids to understand and manage their emotions effectively.
